"Pseudociencia. Mentiras, fraudes y otros timos" de Darryl Cunningham  no es simplemente un libro sobre divulgación científica. Tampoco es un cómic al uso. Es ambas cosas y más: un libro ameno pero riguroso que ahonda en algunos de los temas más controvertidos de nuestro tiempo, y la visión desde la ciencia que se tiene de ellos. Con un dibujo limpio y un lenguaje cercano para todos, y respaldado por una extensa bilbiografía; aborda temas polémicos de la actualidad, en una línea progresiva desde aquello que nos afecta más singularmente hasta lo más global. Así, desde la terapia electroconvulsiva hasta el negacionismo científico, pasando por la homeopatía, la evolución, o el cambio climático entre otros; el autor desenmascara supuestas verdades y da validez a hechos cuestionados según los intereses de quién... Y lo más importante, invita al pensamiento crítico.
